As a lab technician my role within the team is to provide assistance for the scientists and perform general laboratory work (perform experiments, management, offer trainings, etc.). Furthermore, I will work on the standardisation and optimisation of contrast enhancing staining agents (CESA’s) for CECT (Contrast enhanced computed tomography) applications. The aim of the project, as for now, will be the optimisation of existing CESA’s to obtain the most perfect and faithful 3D (three dimensional) representation of soft tissues on a CT-scanner.
